Before I Step Outside

Before I Step Outside is a short PS1 style indie psychological horror experience set during the early days of a mysterious virus outbreak.

You play as an ordinary person confined indoors as the world outside slowly collapses. News reports grow inconsistent, familiar places begin to feel wrong, and days start blending into one another. Quarantine was meant to keep people safe — but isolation has a way of distorting reality.

As the outbreak worsens, the environment changes subtly. Objects move. Rooms feel unfamiliar. What is real, what is imagined, and what is remembered begin to overlap.

There are no clear answers — only the feeling that something is deeply wrong.
